Vision: We envision a nation that is safe, inclusive, and supportive of the transgender community. We strive for widespread understanding, legal protections, and social normalization across the country.
Our Values: Our team shares six core values: hope, courage, unwavering pride, inclusion, firm peace, and collaboration.
Hope: We believe in a light at the end of the tunnel. We know hardship and suffering exist because it exists for many of us, and that not everyone makes it there. But we believe that our hard work has a reward, that our fight today will serve the next generation’s prosperity tomorrow, and that what we do truly matters in the end.
Courage: Power comes from defiance, confidence, outspoken honesty, and a commitment to being true to one’s self. Under pressures which seek to push people into hiding or trick one into silencing one’s self, we feel that visibility leads to the rising up of others on our side. Our actions signal a beacon of fearlessness to the rest of our community, and we feel honored to be seen and heard by all
Unwavering Pride: We are pioneers in the queer movement, adamantly proud of who we are. Nobody can take that away from us. Who we are is deeply tied to our humanity, our individualism, and our happiness, and these principles are both readily valid and non-negotiable.
Inclusion: There is value in diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are committed to creating an environment of respect where everyone feels welcome and appreciated, and we know that a team consisting of people with varied backgrounds, beliefs, identities and limitations is stronger and more open-minded than one that is homogeneous in nature.
Firm Peace: Our ultimate goals exist to discover harmony for everyone as they are. Our world has seen enough disunity and conflict, and our efforts serve to end this. We do not seek violence nor do we advocate for it, but we will be there to speak out when we see those who act to incite turmoil, division, or bloodshed, especially towards our own community.
Collaboration: The ability of our people to put aside differences, disagreements, or misunderstandings and show cooperation is one we deeply intend to honor. We are stronger united, and by working together we accomplish far more than when separated. Our efforts show that we aim to work with aligned entities to build progress together.
